How we work

Defining a challenge or problem

Learning about a particular community and defining the problem that needs to be solved in order to innovate and not make something repeatable.

This takes the form of several processes:

  1. Domain research

  2. Market research

  3. User research

  4. Technology or physical research

Design, Prototype + Test

After a problem has been defined, design work begins. First with sketches and then with refined, final models that are annotated and ready to build. In buildling, more issues will come up depending on how much is known about the subject matter and technology, but without building, it will only stay an idea. Rigorous testing with an audience for both qualitative and quantitative results is important to redefining the design.

Market, Build + Grow
